Judith Pruitt
Judith Pruitt is a writer, teacher and traveler. She is active in historic preservation and is a student of spirituality and mysticism. She has been a teacher, corporate trainer, technical writer, and has written articles on women's roles in historic preservation. She has served as president of leading preservation organizations in Miami, Florida, and has served on the board of the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. She remains active as a volunteer guide and speaker. Currently she serves on the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Coral Gables, Florida, where she now lives. Previously she lived in Spain, Australia, and England and has travelled extensively around the world where she seeks to satisfy her curiosity to know and appreciate the people of other countries, their cultures and their history. She holds a B.S. degree in English from Hendrix College and an M.S.E. in Education from the State University of New York.
